Trust your body

as a wise teacher.

Join us for a day-long gathering at a biodynamic farm & sanctuary to restore and reconnect.

Saturday, 30 September 2023, White Feather Farm, Avondale , Pennsylvania, USA

This day is designed to support you to reconnect with what matters most to you by integrating two powerful healing modalities, Humaning Well skills and Zhineng Qigong (ZQ).

Learn and practice simple and effective ways to become a more effective human, disappear a physical, mental, and emotional issue while reducing stress!

You'll gain clarity and how to shift your your body, your sources of pain (including your boss) into power. After all, pain is wisdom.

The Re/connection Retreat is perfect for:

  • Humans wanting to consciously create, moment by moment, more ease in their bodies, relationships, in life. How would it be to rest as you move through your day? Pull your attention and energy towards what matters and less of what does?

  • Humans with a personal or business vision and commitment for regenerative, restorative social and environmental practices for the sake of our children and collective grandchildren.

  • Because you bring your body every where you go, if you have a physical pain, particularly if you feel resigned, or spend a lot of time, energy, and money on issues that persist, this retreat is also for you.

This will be a powerfully transformative experience where you will practice how to get out of your head and into your body and bring that relaxed, peaceful, powerful body home and then know how to recreate it.

This is a retreat where it will be restorative, a break from your daily rhythm AND you engage with material that is practical and immediately useful. This isn't the retreat where you'll say "That was relaxing but I don't remember anything from it."

Our day includes:

  • We start with meditation and movement (outside but weather dependent) using the ancient art and science of Zhineng Qigong, practices previously reserved for ancient Chinese emperors. ZQ builds your sensory awareness, paranormal abilities and assists in recovery from dis-ease.

  • Skillful conversations for curiosity about a challenge you’re facing.

  • We will be attuning our sensory perception and communication with practices to discover *how* we know what we know.  And, how we create change moment by moment that creates change movement by movement.

  • We will discover the usefulness of building capacity to trust our instinct (and it’s also one of our greatest curses as a society. We say instinct, by definition, is not teachable. This is inaccurate). Instinct is embodied, and is trained by our environment, our physiology and our embodied or acculturated history. It is prone to being rife with unintended bias.

  • You’ll receive coaching on HOW to use your sensory perceptions. For example, using an example of a common upset or reactivity, perhaps one that’s taking up a lot of ‘headspace’, or that you’ve normalized and are ‘fine’ with? That’s the one you bring here.

  • Included in this day will be a delicious lunch.

  • And, time to walk the gardens or hike to the Sacred Circle of Osage Orange trees and enjoy our beautiful surroundings.

But don't just take our word for it. Let these words from the June retreat inspire you for what's possible:

“I am only beginning to see the power of “listening” to my physical symptoms. The day after the retreat, a situation that could have and would have been fraught with fear and upset, I transformed into one of ease and right action. This is the first time in a long time that I felt alive and turned on about a goal and path. Something that really could contribute in ways I can only just begin to imagine.” DB

The day will be guided and lead by Mary Morrison and Kendall Jackson.
